Limit on MS Teams
We know that there is a limit of 1000 teams a user can be member of

But we found a document that you can be member of 7000 groups,

Will the limit on teams also be increase to 7000 shortly?
- Haven’t heard anything about this! But you might assume that the limit of 1000 applies to groups connected to a team, then you can be member of more groups that aren’t
