Ice breaker session for my teams working in a hybrid mode

Hello,

I am planning to deliver a session on communication gap.

To begin I need to start the session with a ice breaker session.

I will use Microsoft teams meeting where people will join remotely.

Can you please suggest something so that I can use any APPS in Teams.

Regards,

Niladri

Certainly! Here's a suggestion for an icebreaker activity that you can conduct within Microsoft Teams using the Apps feature:

    1. Poll Everywhere: Use the Poll Everywhere app in Teams to create a fun and interactive icebreaker activity. Poll Everywhere allows you to create polls, quizzes, and surveys that participants can respond to in real-time.

    - Before the session, create a poll or quiz with a set of engaging questions related to communication or general topics.
    - Share your screen during the session and launch the Poll Everywhere app in Teams.
    - Ask participants to join the poll or quiz using a unique code or link provided by the app.
    - Display the questions on the screen and ask participants to respond via the Poll Everywhere app.
    - The results will be displayed in real-time, creating an engaging and interactive icebreaker activity.

    2. Trivia Game: Utilize the Kahoot! app within Teams to conduct a lively trivia game.

    - Create a trivia game with questions related to communication, popular culture, or any other relevant topic.
    - Share your screen during the session and launch the Kahoot! app in Teams.
    - Provide participants with a unique game PIN or link to join the trivia game using their devices.
    - Start the game and display the questions on the screen.
    - Participants will use their devices to submit their answers, and the leaderboard will be displayed after each question to add some competitive fun to the icebreaker.

    3. Virtual Whiteboard: Use the Miro app or the built-in Whiteboard app in Teams to encourage collaborative engagement and creativity.

    - Launch the Miro or Whiteboard app in Teams and create a blank canvas or use a pre-built template.
    - Share your screen and invite participants to join the virtual whiteboard session.
    - Assign a topic related to communication or any thought-provoking question.
    - Ask participants to contribute their ideas, thoughts, or drawings directly on the whiteboard canvas.
    - Encourage participants to interact with each other's contributions and discuss their ideas during the session.

These suggestions allow you to leverage the Apps feature in Microsoft Teams to engage participants remotely and create an interactive and enjoyable icebreaker session. Choose the option that best suits your session goals and the preferences of your participants.
