How to use Teams Only for Calling and Joining the Meeting
We have requirement to use Teams only for P:P calling and Joining the meeting.
all other options like Chat, Channel and file sharing should be disabled.
- It's not possible anyway, you must be switched over to Teams only to use calling inside of Teams. So if you are referring to using Skype still except calling and meetings then this isn't a supported scenario.
If Skype isn't involved in the scenario then you can disable chat with a user policy, and just restrict Team creation and not have any Teams. But File Sharing is just a by product of SharePoint / OneDrive which won't be available in the client without chat / Teams enabled/created.
As Steven says, you are greatly impacting the product by trying to disable everything in it. krishna2320 umm, why? There is huge value in these features, why would you throw away all that value?

StevenC365 i agree, but this requirement is for one of the ODC where Chat and other services should not be allowed.
