how to edit documents residing in teams using office app

I have tried repairing Office 365 on user's system and it worked. User is able to edit and save documents from Teams using Desktop App .
StevenC365 : Thanks for your reply. Office 365 is the version. Only single user is facing issue and he is owner of that content & site. Should I repair office of his laptop?
