rayted22 I'm not aware of any way to disable it. It's generally needed is you end up giving control to other people.

I agree. This is very annoying in New Teams. Never fan of the top bar because it doesn't always go away when you click away, not just in Teams but in other apps too.
To make it worse, there is permanent red bar saying "You're sharing your screen". Others can see what's underneath it but I can't. Thanks Microsoft, this was the feature that was missing before.

I agree with this karun-work; for me the behaviour of this top bar is worse on the New Teams. It was better in classic teams - at least in classic teams there is a way to make it go away - but it seems there's no way at all on the New Teams
