Guest user joining meeting they were not invited to
Hi,
I have a team with guest users.
I set up a meeting and only invited a member of the team who is within my organisation.
Shortly after the meeting started the guest user tried to join - he must have received an alert that the meeting had started even though he was not invited.
We had the option to not admit him so could prevent him joining the meeting but why did he get the alert and why could he ask to join if he was not invited?
Thanks
Phil

PhilHesketh The only solution, as I see it, to avoid this is that you do not create "channel meetings" when you do not want anyone who is a member or guest of the Team to be able to enter the meetings.

Most likely because you have scheduled a channel meeting, which when started will alert all current members of the channel. Alternatively, someone might have simply forwarded him the meeting request, currently anyone that has the link can join (at least to the lobby of the) meeting.
