Facilitator Agent Brings AI-Powered Notetaking to Teams Chat

The Facilitator agent can make sense of the messages posted to a Teams chat and summarize the discussion and extract to-do items and unanswered questions. It’s a very practical tool that allows chat participants to focus on the ebb and flow of a conversation instead of pausing to take notes. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required before you can use AI Notes in Teams chat.

hi, I am trying to post an issue here about the service, but is is immediately removed from the topic. Am I doing something wrong here?

Since I tested the AI facilitator function in Teams during a meetings series, It automatically keeps activating at the beginning of our daily / recurring meeting. Even tough I turned it off every meeting, the next time it turns on again by itself at the beginning of our meeting. I followed the instruction to turn it off fromhttps://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/facilitator-in-microsoft-teams-meetings-37657f91-39b5-40eb-9421-45141e3ce9f6 but it is not as it show to no avail unfortunately. I talked with Microsoft Support on this, but they where not able to resolve this issue with me, because we can not turn it of on existing recurring meetings via Meeting options or some different way. How can this be done? The feature is productive no doubt, but not everyone is happy with AI listing in on our conversation just yet.

How can turn the facilitator off on an existing / recurring meeting in Teams? It looks like a design flaw. Something overlooked.
