goufred As of yesterday, I've started getting the same thing. On the first message - I got the standard (someone wants to talk to you) - I accepted and after X messages, they can't message me further and from my perspective - I see no button, no message indicating the same thing.
Very frustrating, especially as this is with a customer.
I had the same problem. I was able to solve it by removing the chats on both sides and the users wrote to each other again via teams.microsoft.com. As a result, the window to accept the chat appeared again.
