This should be fixed now. Restart your client and you should be able to work again.

I've got the same issue. Both in the client as in the WebApp.
- Please log out of the client and log back in! See if that makes a difference. Only for you this happens?

adam deltingeri have made that but without results. This problem exists in many people in my organisation, also on differences versions of MS Teams.

Same issue here and with 1 colleague. Other colleagues not impacted.
Happens on all browsers and also desktop client. Reinstalled/redownloaded, deleted local AppData cache.
This definitely is account related.
Edit: this started this morning. after a windows update reboot but that might be unrelated since it is also in webclients AND on a different machine with my account.
