Disabling a chat in Teams
Is there a way to disable a chat or make a chat un-reply able within teams.
We are currently utilizing multiple chats within teams. We are shifting over the the actual teams portion of the app and want all communication within the channels, but do not want to lose sight of the history of the chats.

Do you mean that you have been using Groups Chats/Individual chats but now want that the communication goes through actual teams only, right?
As far as I know, I think it's not yet possible to restrict the conversations to only teams.
