Disable Group Chats

Private chat can be disabled in the messaging policy in the Teams admin centre - however this is for all private chats - 1:1 and group private chats.

I raised a new feedback here along the lines of the original request, where we want to leave 1:1 chats available, but just disable ability to create/participate in GROUP chats:

I have however voted on 2 other ideas that ask for the same thing.
technonath wow, i'm not sure what happened to mine. I wasnt told anything about it being removed and it definitely hasnt been implemented.
