Disable "Content Sharing" of users by policy?

Hello~

Affected by the virus, my org would like to use Teams meeting as a sort of contingency replacement of everyday lessons, and we would like to disable students' permission to share their screen during meetings.

As colleagues would need to conduct lessons in private channels, there is no way for them to set any "Meeting Options" beforehand to restrict the presenters' permission, so disabling students' Content Sharing policy seemed to be a way out. However, after assigning policy as the screen below to students, students seem can still share their screen... So is there anything I can do with that?

  • Hi,

Wait at least 24 hours after assigning the policy to students. Since there is high usage of Teams currently it could take longer time. Also check again that the policy is really assign to the users.

If you can have the meetings in an open channel instead you can schedule the meeting ahead and Meeting Options will be available.
