Disable Chat for selected students

I understand it is possible to disable Teams chat app so no students can send private messages.

Is it possible to disable this for students in selected class teams or individual students in a team?

    At the class level what you can do is moderate who can post messages in channels. In regards of private chats, you can configure a policy for a set of users in teams that disable the chat
