Desperate for real support. Two acocunts,

First, I get a message from Microsoft that's says:

 

"It looks like this email is used with ore than one account from Microsoft.  Which one do you want to use?  Options: (1) Work or school account Created by your IT department (2) Personal account created by you.  

 

If I choose Option (1) then I don't have a password that works.  I try "Forgot my password" but that screen goes no where.  There is a verification type thing where you type in letters you see...it does nothing nothing at all.

 

Option (2) I can sign in but then get this message  "Something went wrong.  There is a problem with you Microsoft account.  To fix this, sign in to account.live.com from a brower.

 

No idea, tried that address, deleted the account ect.  So frustrating.  Been going on for weeks.

 

Ok what do I do, not tech support.  I don't know Ecolabs administrator.  My project is falling because the rest of the team is on but I am not.

 

I am not a employee, I am a contractor.  They setup the guess access and I can attend meetings.  I have been able to get online with team a few times but never when I try to sign in.  

 

I am willing to Pay $$ for support.  I don't have 365, I  have professional Plus is that the issue?

  • Sounds like you have an o365 work account somehow with whoever is hosting your email. If you can’t get to that the guest invite is probably defaulting you that. If your just a contractor I would setup a new Microsoft account under a different email and just have them invite that email and call it a day.

      First, thank you for your help and your replay.  I ended up calling the company I was working with and a guest too.  The IT people there told me to use the internet version of teams NOT the application.  This worked.  However they said "they had to set this up as a work around".  Apparently the company setup something so even "Guest" have to be on company devices which of course makes no sense at all.  So frustrating.  So I can't judge my opinion of teams yet.  I can't sign in, and its difficult.
