Changing Default "Group By" View in Tasks

To change the default "Group By" view in Microsoft Teams Tasks so that it doesn't automatically go to the Bucket group, follow these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Teams: Launch the Microsoft Teams application on your computer or access it via the web browser.

2. Go to the Tasks Tab: Navigate to the channel or team where you want to modify the default "Group By" view. Click on the "Tasks" tab located at the top of the channel or team interface.

3. Click on "Group By": In the Tasks tab, you will see a "Group By" option at the top right corner of the page. Click on it to reveal the available grouping options.

4. Select a Different Grouping Option: From the dropdown menu that appears when you click on "Group By," choose a different grouping option that you prefer. You can select options like Progress, Due Date, Assigned To, or any other available grouping criteria.

5. Set as Default View: Once you've chosen the desired grouping option, right-click on it, and a context menu will appear. In the context menu, select the "Set as default view" option. This will make the chosen grouping option the default view for Tasks in Microsoft Teams.

6. Confirm and Apply: A confirmation dialog box may appear, asking if you want to set the selected grouping option as the default view. Click "OK" or "Apply" to confirm your selection.

By following these steps, you should be able to change the default "Group By" view in Microsoft Teams Tasks so that it doesn't automatically go to the Bucket group. The new default grouping option you selected will be applied each time you access the Tasks tab in the chosen channel or team.
