Can you disable chats?

In a class can you disable chats so students have to do a particular activity?

Nadim786 you can also go to Manage team to Mute/Unmute Students in a class team. This will stop them from making posts while they are muted.

Do you mean PC? IF so, you can disable PC to specific users by means of a Teams policy

Nadim786 You cannot disable chat at the Class but you can do it ant the Channel. Click the ... next to the channel - Manage Channel - > Select Only owners can post messages.
