I can confirm this indeed seems to happen. Eventhough someone from Microsoft will likely read this and may do something, I would probably also suggest to raise this as an issue with Microsoft Support.

- I would recommend that someone with sufficient privileges raises this support request directly in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. If you’re not one of the Microsoft 365 administrators, please reach out to someone in your organization who is. If this is a Personal Teams account, I suggest to use the Help option in the Teams app, and then Give feedback.
