Bandwidth requirements for a teams event with 50 users

I am totally new to MS teams and all the collaboration tools, I have gone through other posts as well.

My question is very simple, and I expect someone to give me a very clear answer.

 

If my company is hosting an event which will be attended by 50 people sitting in the office. how is the bandwidth calculated.  Lets say all are attending the event using HD quality.

    To calculate the bandwidth required for an event where 50 people are attending in an office and using HD quality, you need to consider a few factors:

    1. Video Streaming Bandwidth: HD video streaming typically requires a bandwidth of around 5 Mbps per stream. Since all attendees will be streaming HD video, you need to multiply this bandwidth requirement by the number of attendees (50 in this case).

    Bandwidth required for video streaming = 5 Mbps per attendee × 50 attendees = 250 Mbps

    2. Audio Streaming Bandwidth: In addition to video streaming, there will also be audio streaming for the event. The bandwidth required for audio is significantly lower compared to video. Assuming a conservative estimate of 128 Kbps per audio stream, you can calculate the total audio streaming bandwidth.

    Bandwidth required for audio streaming = 128 Kbps per attendee × 50 attendees = 6.4 Mbps

    3. Additional Bandwidth for Interactive Features: If the event includes interactive features such as real-time chat or Q&A sessions, you need to allocate some additional bandwidth for those activities. The amount of additional bandwidth required will depend on the nature and intensity of the interactive features.

      So its always multiplied by the times of the users ? Do you think we can apply multicast or something to reduce the bandwidth ?
