Automatically allow editing when sending a file in Teams chat

Hi all!

 

When I am sharing a file in an MS Teams chat message, recipients cannot automatically edit the file.

Is it possible to make this a default setting? If not, is it possible for only in my organization?

 

This as when sending multiple files I have to open op the link settings, check Allow editing and apply for every single one of them. A default recipients are allowed to edit would save time.

    Yes, that's possible and configurable through the Sharing settings in the SharePoint Admin Center. You need a SPO Admin to make the job

      Which Sharepoint would this affect? Does it have to be done for all members of the individual channels within Teams, or is it an individual preference?
