Allow users to create Teams

Hello everyone,

yesterday my boss asked me to block people from creating Teams.

Somewhere (I don't remember)  in the Teams Admin Center I disabled the option to create Microsoft 365 and Private Groups. It was a page with switches.

Today my boss wants me to enable all that again and I can't find where I did those changes.

I want to restore the option so everyone by default can create groups.

Any idea?

Best regards

  • Sorry everyone, my mistake.
I was doing so many things yesterday that I completely forgot where I did the changes.
It wasn't under Teams Admin Center. it was under Azure Active Directory Admin Center, under Groups --> General

Blocking people from creation of Teams is possible in general through Azure security groups through the following link.

Have you done the above procedure?

    Regards...
    Ashok.
