Deb-261 If you 'started' a new account it would sound like perhaps you are using the free personal version of Teams, not a business version (costs money). In Teams personal you can chat with other people, arrange meetings, but not the collaboration features of Teams, Channels etc.
You would need to buy a subscription for this account to get the business features.
