The certification earned by taking the DA-100 exam was transferred to the Power BI Data analyst certification

Easiest way to check is to look at your Learn transcript to see if your certification is still active

You should have had to renew your certification each year, if you didn't renew each year the certification will have expired, and you will need to take the PL-300 exam
