ERR taking assessment for Microsoft Applied Skills: Create agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio

When launching assessment I get error:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/applied-skills/create-agents-in-microsoft-copilot-studio/

I've tried corporate credentials, my personal Microsoft Account, different machines.

Is this a known issue? Can you reproduce it?

Thank you for feedback. After taking additional assessments, what is working for me consistently is using "corporate" or "enterprise" credentials and then ensuring the identity is syncing learn profile accomplishments to personal identity (Outlook.com) etc.

Yes — you're encountering a known issue affecting Microsoft Applied Skills assessments (including "Create agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio") where launching the test triggers the generic message:

“Hmm, something went wrong – undefined”

Multiple learners have reported this across different modules — it’s not specific to your account or machine trainingsupport.microsoft.com+8trainingsupport.microsoft.com+8trainingsupport.microsoft.com+8.

    What’s Going On

    • This error results from backend service problems on Microsoft’s side.
    • It often appears after the “verify and start” step in the assessment flow.
    • Reports date back several months, though some issues have been resolved over time .

    How to Handle It

    1.Wait and Try Again

2.Clear Cookies / Use Incognito Mode

    • Logging out of all Microsoft accounts, clearing the browser cache/cookies, then signing back into only the appropriate account (work or personal) can help.

3.Use a Different Account (if available)

    • If you tried with your work account, try switching temporarily to a personal Microsoft account, or vice versa.

    4.Monitor or Report

    Can You Reproduce It?

Yes, others have reproduced it with the very assessment you're attempting:

“I have tried to start the assessment for building agents in Copilot studio but I get this error displayed after checking the box and …” trainingsupport.microsoft.com+1trainingsupport.microsoft.com+1

    What You Should Do Now

    1. Try again in 10–15 minutes.
    2. Use incognito mode and clear cookies to prevent stale sessions.
    3. If it persists past 24 hours, post a fresh comment in the Training Support forum for your specific lab—Microsoft support staff usually respond and may escalate.

    Bottom Line

This is a transient platform error, not caused by your account or setup. It’s on Microsoft’s side and generally gets resolved—your best approach is to wait it out and retry. If the issue remains persistent, escalate via the official Training Support forums for attention.

Yes. I can take assessments. (which is the important part) Granted, the error rendered still needs improvement.
