Will Microsoft’s Fundraising Template App Be Supported Long-Term?

This one is a little difficult to predict. Microsoft has not indicated a specific end date for the template, but the history of changes to nonprofit fundraising tools is certainly something worth keeping in mind. I would treat the template as a useful starting point rather than assume that its long term availability is guaranteed. If your organization plans significant customisation, it may be worth considering how those changes could be maintained if the product direction changes later. Keeping an eye on the Microsoft 365 roadmap and announcements from Microsoft could help. It may also be useful to speak with a partner experienced in nonprofit implementations before making a major commitment.
