OneDrive / SharePoint data loss after nonprofit licence issue – recovery deadline in a few days

That sounds incredibly stressful. If the retention window hasn't expired, there may still be a chance to recover the data. I'd keep pushing for escalation through Microsoft Support and specifically ask them to check deleted OneDrive accounts, deleted SharePoint sites, retention policies, recycle bins, and any available recovery options.
