Hi, I tried to create an non profit account but I got stuck in step 3 the verification with SMS/Call. It does not work on two different computers with different browsers and I also tried 4 different phone numbers. Can you help me here?

I've opened a ticket and got a response. The information in the ticket is just like "have you tried turning it off and on again". I'm not sure why but today I got the confirmation SMS when I used Google Chrome. In the phone number field i entered my mobile number without any leading signs or zeros. I hope that helps anyone.

It is April and I just tried registering my non-profit yesterday and the step 3 is still broken. There are different posts on this dating back to November. Surely somebody at Microsoft is responsible for maintaining this form?I am a business customer of M365 as well and am raising a support ticket that way but the support agent I am dealing with is very confused by the whole situation. One issue is that my business and non-profit are different entities but the only way to contact support is if you already have a business M365 account!The whole situation is so frustrating, can somebody at Microsoft please escalate this so the relevant responsible engineer can be found and the page fixed.Also I have only tried registering with a regular cell phone number, not VOIP or landline.

Hi,I am facing the same issue as well with UK based numbers. Either 07, +44 or just 44 does not work. Tried different browsers, different PCs, inprivate etc. I know we can create a business tenant first then apply however I wanted to apply for the Azure grant via the non-profit portal. Sam

Same here as yesterday and today.Used 2 different phone numbers, one of them has never been used for anything Microsoft related. Different browsers as well.

If it my help to identify the issue. When I request the code I get following response in the browser dev tools when I trigger the verification:

  Thank you for providing the capture of the page. It appears that an incomplete process is causing a blockage. I recommend that you submit a support ticket to address this issue. You can do so by visiting the "Contact Us" section. We will also escalate this matter through the appropriate channels.
