Microsoft 365 Global Admin Account Recovery
I am also the sole Global Administrator on my not-for-profit account.
All of my devices were stolen in May.
I've been locked out since then. I was contacted by the support team once, then my ticket was archived. I have been unable to get in contact with support for 2 weeks now and no steps have been taken towards resolving the issue.
I've stopped paying my invoices for additional (bolt-on type) products. Can't use them, not going to pay. (It also seems that there is no way of contacting billing to let them know I'm not going to pay until resolved).
Similarly to the original poster, if someone from Microsoft sees this, please note :
CRITICAL TOTAL BUSINESS STOPPAGE: Escalation to Data Protection Team - Sole Global Admin Lockout on External Tenant - Over 3 weeks locked out, no resolution, ticket archived by Data Protection.
I hope yours got resolved.
