Customisations in the Transaction entity

Question

I would like to know to what extent we can modify the transaction entity? Also, if there is a roadmap which details any upcoming enhancements to the transaction entity (which may result in us not needing to customise the transaction entity).

Also ItsBal may I ask what modifications you are hoping to make? I've had some wish list items as well and would love to share ideas.

Hello. Considerable changes to the Transaction entity are being contemplated. However, a specific list of changes is not currently available. When you express what changes you would like to see on the entity, it can assist in the decision-making process.

Hello, thank you for your reply. We would like to add custom fields such as Gift Aid information to the transaction and transaction batches as an example, however we recognise GA is not applicable to all Countries hence our question on how far, if at all, we can bring in custom fields.
