OWA for Android problems
- Sep 28, 2017
Then it might be something similar on their phones. But it's what Android apps use to display web pages inside the app. It isn't Chrome. Maybe on their phones it is called something else.
My co-workers was able to unistall the updates and it is now working for him.
The notice for discontinued support for OWA for Android was posted 2 years ago and not many Microsoft customers remember that.
Even Microsoft Exchange engineers that I worked with did not know that !!! They informed me about OWA for Android not being supported two weeks after I have been exchanging posts in this forum and other Exchange admins posted work around solutions.
Since the Lollipop update, I have not been able to log in to my email account on Microsoft Outlook Web Access through any web browser on my phone. I cannot use the app, because my office doesn't use Office 365. We just have an Exchange server. When I try to log in from my phone's web browser, it says, "The username or password you entered isn't correct." I can log in from any regular computer and I could log in when my phone was on KitKat. Is there any solution for this? I am expected to respond to work email frequently during the day, and I'm not always near a real computer. I really don't want to go back to KitKat, because I love everything else about Lollipop! Is there anyway to resolve this problem or can someone explain to me what is causing the problem in the first place?
