Forms multiple choice answers disappeared

I have a few forms with drop-down choices. In the last week, multiple forms have lost some of the available choices.
I am the only one with access to edit the forms.
The only thing in common is that it's the choices before the letter I.
I have had to go in and add the choices back in but am worried that it will keep happening.
