Personal appointments only shown in day view

When I check the calendar in Bookings i see the Bookings appointments as well as the personal appointments at the day view. When I look at the other views i only see the Bookings appointments. The personal appointments are not visible.
I have check this on two different tenants with the same results.

Is this by design or is this a current bug?

I can't remember how it looked in the past.
