Making a booking page on behalf of someone else
HI, why do I need to create a new calendar - they already have one ? Surely if i create a calendar it won't show what their current availability is? Also, when I go to bookings I don't have the option to 'create a calendar'. I can only 'create a meeting type' or 'create a booking page'....? I am logged in as myself and it only sees me and my calendar and booking page. There is also no option to “Events on Office calendar affect availability” if I'm setting up a new booking page.
To manage calendars on behalf of your Directors/Managers, you need to use the Microsoft Bookings app – not “Bookings with Me”.

Thanks for confirming you’re logged into Microsoft Bookings!
To clarify, managing multiple calendars for other Directors or Managers requires access to the full Microsoft Bookings app experience, not the “Bookings with Me” simplified interface you’re currently seeing. The “Bookings with Me” option only shows your personal booking page and calendar—it doesn’t support managing multiple users or their booking calendars.
If you only see options to create meeting types or booking pages tied to your own calendar, it likely means you’re using the simplified personal booking experience rather than the full Bookings app.
To manage others’ calendars, you need to:
- Have the Bookings app enabled and licensed on your tenant
- Access the Bookings web app via https://outlook.office.com/bookings/ (or the Microsoft 365 admin portal if applicable)
- Be assigned as an administrator on each relevant Booking calendar (or create one if none exists)
If your organization restricts access or you don’t see these options, you may need to request your Microsoft 365 admin to grant the appropriate permissions or to confirm that Bookings is fully enabled for multi-user management.
