Allowing multiple bookings for the same time in Microsoft Bookings
- DeletedMay 11, 2018There is a workaround for this - create the number of dummy staff up to the maximum number of 'customers' that you want to book into the session, and assign them all to the service. So if you want 20 seats available at the training you create 20 dummy 'staff'. Once all 20 seats have been booked that date will no longer be available.
Hi YuliaKozlova, I achieved this by creating two different staff members for myself. I created an alias for my email address so they could have two different email addresses. Then I could accept parallel bookings.
- QiJessSep 08, 2023Copper ContributorHmm, I'm not sure of your situation exactly, and whether my solution is relevant, but my solution allows me to book clients every 15 mins, for a service which lasts 45 mins, with the same staff member (me). So I have one service and three staff (Me 1, Me 2, Me 3), with different availability start times. Clients are offered 9am, 9.15am, 9.30am, etc. Client 1 can book Me 1 at 9am, Client 2 can book Me 2 at 9.15am, etc.
- Nic_PuiaDec 29, 2023Copper ContributorSo, you’re saying the clients don’t see the times, only “Me 1 45mins appt” and pick that one? Which is basically one of the slots between 9 and 9.45.
I’m struggling to find a solution for my wife to integrate this type booking into a website where she can book more than 1 client from 9 to 10am for example and google calendar can’t do that, bookings neither.- QiJessDec 30, 2023Copper Contributor
Nic_Puia the clients can see each available spot, eg 9am, 9.15am, 9.30am, 9.45am, and book themselves a 45 min appointment at any of these times. They cannot see any staff info. In the background, the appointments are booked as 9am Staff 1, 9.15am Staff 2, 9.30am Staff 3, 9.45am Staff 1, etc. As far as I can tell, I have Bookings doing exactly what you want to achieve.
UPDATE Sorry I just saw that you want the appointments to be simultaneous and have the same start time. My setup would be equally fine for that. Note that each staff needs a separate email address, but for that I just set up alias addresses with my email provider, all of which are delivered to my normal email account (staff1@blahblah, staff2@blahblah, etc).
