hohohono Are you certain of this? I'm testing Bookings as a possible solution for us however we are seeing a ~5min delay for the appointment timeslot to disappear/update. We do however see the following:
They made some changes on their backend and the delay is no longer there. Booked appointments do not show up on the Bookings calendar after they're created. Although there is still a 5 minute delay for updated and cancelled bookings (for example: if you update to a new date/time, the new time will still show up and the old time will not be available; and if you cancel a booking, the timeslot doesn't show up on the calendar ... until AFTER about 5 minutes later, then it'll be updated.)

I'm actually not certain, because I'm not sure if this delay issue was only fixed for our tenant or globally worldwide. It sounds like the former was done (just our tenant got fixed), which sucks.
Actually, I observed this delay issue with "updated Bookings" (if someone changes their appointment day/time), so it wasn't entirely fixed anyway. However, our project related to Bookings got cancelled about two months ago, so I haven't looked back at this...
That error image came up because you tried to book the same timeslot, right? That's correct behaviour, since the timeslot was booked, the customer can't book it (hence the error). After about 5 minutes, that booked timeslot will disappear from the calendar.
Once someone books their appointment, they probably won't look back at the calendar anymore. But the bad news is, if they do, then it's just confusing. Although if the customer tried to book it, they'll realize that they can't, so maybe that helps imply that the timeslot was booked for them. (It's just if a new/different customer tries to get that same timeslot, then it's confusing for them.)
Want me to reopen the ticket? :/

Thank you for the quick response. Yes... it appears that this "fix" was not a global fix which is shocking!
Yes, the error came from from trying to book the same timeslot and I can also confirm the 5 min delay timeslot get removed and thus error message is no longer an issue.
I'm not certain how these tickets work but if you could reopen it with a request to have the Bookings fix go global, that would be great! I could then move forward with identifying other compromises; which are feel there are many.

Sorry, was off for a little for this week. For sure, I'll reopen a ticket.
It's pretty bottom-priority though, but I've had my old emails about the Bookings delay hanging in my inbox that I've been meaning to get rid of -- so it IS on my to-do list at some point.
I'll PM you with any updates I have.
