What is the best HR tech stack for Microsoft 365?

We are switching from Google Workspace to the Microsoft ecosystem, and we would love for all of our HR software to reside within Microsoft Teams or Outlook. Any suggestions?

We went through the exact same transition.

I second everything Kidd_lp said about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources. It does depend on what you're looking for in HR Software. Dynamics 365 can take care of very simple core hr needs such as leave requests.

For performance management and employee engagement, Teamflect would be the best HR software I can recommend for Microsoft Teams. We started using them after reading up on other cases of organizations switching from Google Workspace to Microsoft. It fits right into Teams, we don't need other logins, or data syncing, and it has everything from performance reviews, goals, feedback, etc.

We also use Absentify for our absence and leave management. Again, fits really neatly into Microsoft Teams and management has really nice control over who can see who is taking days off.

  • How about this:

    1. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources

    • Deep integration with Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and Viva
    • Employees can request leave, update profiles, and view HR data directly in Teams
    • HR can push notifications, manage performance reviews, and collaborate across departments

    2. Microsoft Viva

    • Modules like Viva Learning and Viva Insights integrate with Dynamics 365 HR
    • Personalized recommendations and well-being tools for employees
