What does blank in ServiceProfileIdID means?
Hi team, In my test via "Azure AD groups". I have added my device to the servicing profile. Able to execute few functions like Pause, Rollback etc. But, when I check the Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHI...
- Apr 11, 2023Please check this location in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\cloud\office\16.0\Common\officeupdate. Is there a value IgnoreGPO with a data of 1? Also additional keys like targetversion or updatechannel? If yes, your device is managed by servicing profiles.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I do have the entry:)
In case, after implementing the servicing profile via "by update channel" approach. If I have any issues. Do we have any possibilities to deactivate the servicing profile? So, it will roll back to previous GPO settings

Apr 14, 2023Currently you can't disable a servicing profile entirely. But you can scope it to an empty Azure Ad group, this will effectively out scope all devices. Once devices are out of scope, they will be offboarded and the previously set GPO configuration is in effect again.
If there are any further issues with offboarding devices, please hit the 'feedback' button on the servicing profile page and let us know about the issue.

Yes. Servicing Profiles will evaluate if a device is in scope or not purely based on the Microsoft 365 Apps information plus disk space. The underlying OS is no selection criteria.- GerardoHernandezMay 11, 2023Brass ContributorHi,
Thanks for the information on the task schedule.
Regarding the registries that means that we enroll the devices 2 weeks ago when they were update no actual enrollment was done until this month's cycle?
So most of our devices won't follow the policies until probably next month? My device for example should update on day 0 and it still won't get any registries even if it was showing fine in the inventory and dashboard in servicing profile
