Text predictions in Word for Android

Hello Office Insiders,

 

Typing on a phone is not easy and can be quite frustrating. Yet, we know that you want to be as productive while on your phone as you are when sitting in front of your laptop at home or in the office. AutoComplete is helpful when drafting simple documents, but it is not sufficient when composing more complex and verbose content. In our latest blog post, Sai, a Program Manager, goes over the new text prediction feature that improves the quality and accuracy of suggestions. This feature uses Machine Learning to predict the next set of character as you type.
