Office Lens for Android slow performance for "My Files" to appear

Five months ago the performance was very slow (greater than 20 seconds) for the "My Files" file picker thumbnails to display. Then there was a change and it was very fast 😀. Recently the thumbnail delay is back to greater than 20 seconds (with much of the time with an entirely black screen)..
