Is Office insider only for Office 365?

or can i install insider builds on my Office 2019 pro plus too? if not why?

    Hi, HotCakeX , 
    The Office Insider program is for Office 365 and works on the Office 365 Home version, as well as the Office 365 ProPlus version. In order to join via the ProPlus version, the IT Administrator of that instance of ProPlus will need to follow the deployment instructions found here: https://insider.office.com/en-us/business/deploy.  The preview features of the Office Insider program can only be seen in the weekly and monthly builds from Office 365. Office 2019 doesn't offer new features, only security upgrades.
