Hey, Office Insiders! Ekta Dwivedy, a Product Manager on the PowerPoint Mobile team is happy to announce a new feature in PowerPoint for the iPad that gives you the ability to customize slide backgrounds with images!

The ability to customize slide backgrounds with images is a great way to add visual flair to your PowerPoint presentation. This is now an option on your iPad!

You can insert any picture to serve as a background on a PowerPoint slide, and also adjust its transparency. This helps customize your slides to meet your specific presentation needs.

 

How it works

1. Go to the Design tab and tap Format Background, then tap Picture Fill.
