Semantic Index Status/Progress
We just added Copilot licenses to our tenant and I'm wondering if there is a way to view the status of the Semantic indexing on our tenant. Anybody know of a way? I've checked in the Search & Intelligence are of the M365 Admin Portal but I don't see anything. We are running a risk review and need to know once everything has been successfully indexed in our tenant.

"We are in the early stages of rolling out the semantic index to all organizations with Copilot for Microsoft 365 and an eligible Microsoft 365 license, without any administrative involvement.
We have received feedback from customers that the semantic index enablement status indicator previously in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center was confusing. To reduce customer confusion, we have temporarily removed the indicator until we're able to determine a better approach. There's no change to our commitment to providing customers with an exceptional search experience, and Microsoft will continue to automatically index organizations."

Just make sure that in order for SharePoint documents to be indexed they have to be accessible via site inheritance, by two or more users. See the statement statement:
"Index updates
When the semantic index has completed indexing for a customer for the first time, documents created by users are indexed in near real-time in the user's mailbox. New documents that are added to SharePoint Online sites that are accessible, via site inheritance, by two or more users are indexed daily. When an indexed user and tenant level document is updated, the changes are immediately indexed."

Semantic Index will also power the search experience at https://www.microsoft365.com/ landing page, see picture below. The left shows the experience without and the right with Semantic Index.I have one active Copilot for Microsoft 365 license in my tenant since January (6 months now thus) but this Semantic Index search result view is still not enabled. Semantic Index is enabled and active though.
