Restrict SharePoint Agents - PAYG
Hi All, We are planning to trial SharePoint Agents, but during the configuration of Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) services, it appears there’s no option to scope access to specific users or SharePoint sites....
The PAYG model makes it very difficult to make agents broadly available - especially in an education setting where different access and cost controls may be needed for students v general staff v power users. Without the ability to limit or cap access to PAYG at a domain or cohort level most organisations will just block agents all together which is not a great outcome but will be the default position of most IT departments without adequate policy settings being available to contain PAYG costs
