Problem to attach documents
Hello,
i would like to have a document (PDF) summarized by the Copilot. However, when I want to select this file, it is not displayed. How can I add any file to Copilot?

Hi, I found the same problem today, using the Vivaldi (Chrome) browser. It seems that when you go to copilot.microsoft.com via Edge, the button shows up. Would be good to know if that is on purpose or some sort of (coding-) error.

I'm not sure if everyone is talking about the same things.
That's why I tried to make a compilation of the functions. You can make any additions and corrections if you like.
A corresponding function overview is not easy to provide, as I am only a (small) personal user.

Hi MrUnwissend,
Which Copilot do you use to summarize you PDF? I can do it from copilot.microsoft.com and from Copilot in Edge. I cannot do it from Copilot in Windows. I have a Copilot for Microsoft 365 licence assigned to my Microsoft 365 E3 account.
Kind regards,

I'm Copilot Pro user and i tried ist in copilot.microsoft.com and in Word.
There ist no possibility to open files except the files Microsoft shows by itself.- Andre_CaronIron Contributor
In the copilot prompt, I type the /[filename] where [filename] is the complete name of the file including the extension, no path, no square brackets like /yourdocument.pdf. Even if it doesn't show up, Copilot will retrieve the file from OneDrive. Of course, the file must be saved in your OneDrive.
I hope this helps, kind regards,
