Missing copilot in home "bar" of word

I have a family premium subscription. I installed all the Microsoft 365 apps for three members. Copilot shows on the bottom task bar  on all three members including me. But the copilot icon is not there in the Home bar of word. If i go to options there is no copilot to click and enable, for all three. I  have tried everything that has been suggested but nothing helps. I don't understand what the problem is.
