Is there any benefit to using Bing for my default search if I have Copilot Premium?
Hi folks. I recently purchased Microsoft premium so I could use Copilot in Microsoft apps and I'm wondering if there is any benefit to switching to Bing for my default search in my browser instead of Google if I have the Premium features. Such as will it profile what I'm doing offering better/more catered to me answers when searching in Bing and using in Apps? Honestly I still find the Google AI answers better but since I have this Premium version of Copilot now, I want to leverage the premium features as much as possible. Thanks.

Setting Bing as the browser default is not required for paid Copilot features, and it does not unlock extra Copilot capacity inside Word, Excel, or other Microsoft apps. The default search setting mainly decides where address-bar searches go. Bing may personalize search results when you are signed in and search history is enabled, while personal Copilot can separately use Copilot memory and, if you allow it, Microsoft usage data from services such as Bing and Edge. Those controls, not the default-search choice itself, determine whether that activity can influence Copilot. Check Copilot’s Memory settings and Microsoft usage data setting, then review or clear Bing search history in your Microsoft privacy dashboard. If you prefer Google’s results, you can keep Google as default and still receive the paid Copilot benefits. Use Bing when its search experience or Microsoft integration is useful to you, not because the subscription requires it
