Is there a way to get Copilot to look through a PDF file in a public website and summarise it?
Is it possible for Copilot to look through a file in a public website and retrieve information from it? For example, when I asked Copilot to
“extract Volkswagen AG’s latest inventory balance for the quarter ended March 2024, as per the investor relations section on their website.”
I received this answer

I downloaded the file and tried to attach it to the chat but Copilot complained about the file size (20MB)
Am I doing something wrong or are these actually Copilot limitations?

ZainabJae it looks like part of the problem is related to the protections that VW put on that particular PDF document. Notice, I downloaded the PDF and am attempting to use Copilot within the browser and it displays an access denied error message.

I do have the web plugin and tried to use Copilot for web and work. Both gave me the same results.
When I downloaded the pdf file and tried to attach it, Copilot complained about the file size.
This is just one example though, my goal was to get Copilot to do the steps instead of me going through the website downloading the file etc
- Do you have the web plugin on? You may also be able to use Copilot on the web here as well.
