How do I turn off Copilot in Word documents?
I don't need Copilot in my word documents and I don't need the copilot icon stalking me on every page when I begin to type. Its very distracting. How do I disable Copilot?
- Open MS Word
- Navigate to the File tab
- Scroll all the way to the bottom, and select Options
- Select the Copilot
- Deselect the Enable Copilot selection box
- Select OK
- Close MS Word
- Restart your computer
- Open MS Word, and it should be gone
What that DOESN'T remove, however, is the 42% price rise that Microsoft stuck on the subscription.
I just spent the last hour on their live chat and am now on 365 Personal Classic. The price is back to the old price, and copilot is gone for good.
