Creating PowerPoint presentation from Word file via Copilot
Make sure the reference document file is saved in Onedrive. Also try the prompt with just the file name. "Create a new presentation from file "filename.docx" and let us know how it works.
reachrj I tried a few times per the suggested prompt below using the exact file name, but it's still not working. All of my docs are saved in OneDrive and yes, I'm using Copilot Pro. This is the usual message I got from PowerPoint Copilot: "I can't do that just yet. For things I can help you with, review and select the suggestions or use a starter prompt."

I also don't see a default prompt "Create a presentation from file..." as I've seen in other videos. Is there something wrong with my Copilot subscription?
Thanks in advance for your support.JMaeG Currently Copilot Pro (home license) does not support creating presentations directly from a Word file. This functionality is currently limited to Microsoft 365 Copilot (work license).
If you're using Copilot Pro, you won't see the "Create presentation from file" option within Copilot.
