Copilot Pro Reference a File button gone
Using desktop Word, which I greatly prefer over the web version, the "Reference a file" button disappeared today. I validated that my Copilot Pro subscription is still active, and my account settings...
Hey! You're definitely not the only one—some people have noticed the “Reference a file” button disappearing from desktop Word recently. Since it still shows up in the web version, your account is probably fine. Try restarting Word, checking for updates (File > Account > Update Options > Update Now), or signing out and back in to make sure you’re on the right account. You can also try updating your license under File > Account > Update License. If it’s still missing, it might be a bug or a change Microsoft is rolling out. Hopefully it comes back soon!
