CoPilot Microsoft Account login shows unknown account

Hi,

 

I have installed copilot on iphone. While logging in using the 'Microsoft Account', it shows me 4 accounts.

One of them is my personal account and two are my office accounts. But then it shows me a third hotmail.com that I don't recognize at all.

I have cleared any cache from Chrome Safari or Edge. I have also paused and started the syncing of 'Passwords' to iCloud.

But nothing has helped.

Please help. I am sure this falls under the Security and Compliance category and should be seriously looked into.

    Fastest Steps to Solve the Problem
    1. Clear the cache:

    Close all Office applications → Open Terminal Input:

    bash
    rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Library/Caches/
    (Windows: Delete the %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Wef\ folder)

    2. Log in again:

    Open Word → Click on the Copilot icon → Select Sign in with another account → Enter your full Microsoft account e-mail address.

    3. Verify: Check that the account is displayed correctly view the avatar in the upper right corner.
